About the Writer
"It is utterl imposs. Underline imposs. To write today."
I'm currently a Master's student in Literature at UMASS Amherst. My research focuses on ecocriticism, in particular how it relates to Early Modernism and Modernism. I also investigate feminist modes of mobility in highly pressurized patriarchal systems. In 2022, I graduated magna cum laude with an English degree, emphasizing in creative writing, et une matière secondaire en Français, from Cal Poly SLO.

I have three published stories, displayed and linked in my Portfolio, and I am currently a publishing intern at Restless Books, as well as a freelance book reviewer (you can find some of my reviews on BookBrowse and Time's Arrow Literature).

I read a lot. In middle school, it was Magic Tree House, The Neverending Story. High school was trickier- started off with young adult, ended with an intense Kundera kick. Now, it's anything and everything I think will affect me, change me, teach me.

Like I said, I love to read. At my core, I'm just a girl who loves to read and write stories. I'm a fan of Shakespeare, Joyce, translated literature, memoirs, and anything written by Marilynne Robinson or Ross Gay (who I met, pictured below!).
